路透社消息，5月10日SolarWorld AG在德国申请破产，目前还不清楚其美国子公司是否也将提交。SolarWorld创始人和首席执行官Frank Asbeck称，中国生产商的“非法低价倾销”是导致SolarWorld垮台的原因。 欧盟将SolarWorld的破产描述为对德国和欧洲太阳能行业的严重打击。欧盟总裁Milan Nitzschke，针对中国制造商的“双反”措施影响有限，而且产能过剩又再次破坏了欧洲制造商的前景。Milan Nitzschke说：“五年来，我们一直在抱怨中国太阳能生产商在欧洲的大规模倾销，自那时以来，我们已经有100多个工厂关闭和破产。”
