为了回应中国长期以来对更优惠待遇的要求，欧洲议会经过投票后同意，改变旨在打击以低于成本价格进口--或者说倾销--商品的关税计算方法。
为了减轻对欧洲制造商的影响，新的欧盟法律预计将采用一个计算反倾销税的特殊公式，针对被认为由于政府干预而导致价格严重扭曲的国家。
注：欧盟各国政府已经表示支持此项立法，从而使得12月4日的正式批准成为一种形式。该法案将于12月16日在“欧盟官方公报”上公布。
